I have been somewhat familiar with Team Epik by way of seeing their cars at shows and other events throughout my few years in Houston car scene. Getting the chance to candidly see their rides on the road is always a pleasant moment of my day. Not surprisingly, they brought out some nice cars.
The venue itself belongs to Gateway Classic Cars Houston which is conveniently located just inside the Beltway on 45. With loads of indoor space and even more space outside, it is no wonder this was chosen as a spot for a car meet.
Not surprisingly, the indoor parking was packed with beautifully restored and tastefully modified classic cars. An overall impressive display of the automotive past juxtaposed with the present.
Aside from the venue and the cars, more surprises were provided in the form of food. As car enthusiasts prepared food for the people on one side of the loading dock, a truck was set up selling BBQ on the other side. Far above adequate. Both Epik Motorsports and Gateway Classic Cars deserve a huge Thank You for putting together such a satisfying experience. If these events continue, I'll be marking my calendar.
