NSMM: Underground Eggroll Edition

On a Monday evening in May of 2012, my friend Austin and I decided to go out to grab a bite to eat at a BBQ place. We noticed that the location looked like it could be a great place for a car meet. Consider that the birth of the North Side Monday Meet (NSMM). Starting that day, every Monday for the next six months, we held a small meet for our friends and local car guys. Things got a little too rowdy, and management kindly asked us not to hold the meet there any longer. After that, I moved to our next location outside of Golden Jade Chinese Restaurant. I continued to hold the meet there until February 2015, when construction and low attendance persuaded me to cancel the meet indefinitely. Recently, I decided to throw a one-time NSMM event as a way to show my appreciation to my friends and local car community. I placed a large order of egg rolls for the attendees and bought some cases of sodas and water to give away.

Monday came along, and I could not have been more pleased with the way things turned out. The turnout was greater than I expected, and everyone was respectful of the rules I set out beforehand. Aside from the police rolling through to check for alcohol and unruly people, everything went smoothly. I'll stop with the words and get to the photos below. Even though I have said it multiple times since Monday, I want to thank everyone for coming out! Keep an eye out for details on a possible future event!
